How it works<\/h2>\n

Select the Live Feed option on your Alert History Page. As long as the Alert History Page stays open, new alerts arrive on your screen the moment they’re detected. You can also change the refresh time and activate alert sound and browser notifications. This feature has no effect on your usual email and text alerts. This is an additional way to receive alerts.<\/p>\n

Given the way mobile devices work, this feature will work more reliably on a desktop computer than a mobile device.<\/p>\n

What this feature does and doesn’t do<\/h2>\n

Live Feed speeds up delivery<\/em>, not detection<\/em>. Your searches still run on their existing schedule (every 1 minute, every 15 minutes, hourly, etc., depending on your search settings). The Live Feed real-time alert delivery gets each result to you the moment it’s found, instead of waiting on email or text message delivery to catch up. If the Live Feed setting brings in alerts faster than you can keep up with, you can slow down the page’s auto refresh. Options range from 2 seconds up to 60 seconds, or turn Alert History Page auto refresh off entirely.<\/p>\n
