There is sometimes a delay for items to show up in search on the eBay website and the eBay API

There’s typically a delay between the time an item is listed, and when it becomes visible on the eBay website.

I have discussed this many times with eBay since I first created AutomatedSearches.com in 2006.

They say it takes time for their search system to index the new items.

Sometimes it’s only a few seconds, but it can be up to 5 minutes at times.

The data we receive is the same data that eBay has on their website, so any delay we see is the same as on ebay.com.
